Azoma collects its data in three steps. It builds your prompts from digital twin technology, public Q&A, marketplace, keyword and shopper data, runs those prompts daily across AI shopping agents, and analyzes every answer for brand mentions, product recommendations, citations and buy links.
Where do Azoma's prompts come from?
Azoma's tracked prompts come from digital twin technology, public Q&A, marketplace data, keyword data and shopper data. The digital twin models your shoppers from marketplace data, keywords and customer personas, and maps the prompts they ask AI shopping agents.
During setup, Azoma also uses your SKUs, brand guidelines, target audience profiles and customer insights, and agrees your competitors and focus areas with you. How does Azoma set up prompts and personas for my brand? explains each step.
How does Azoma organize prompts?
Each prompt is grouped by topic and can carry tags. Prompts can also be viewed by persona, language and region.
How are AI answers captured?
Azoma runs each tracked prompt daily in each AI shopping agent you track, from the region configured for your account, and records every answer with its date, AI model, prompt and full response. Each prompt’s analysis page shows how many times it has been run since tracking began.
What does Azoma analyze in each answer?
For every recorded answer, Azoma analyzes:
- Brand mentions: which brands are mentioned, to calculate your Share of Voice and competitor ranking.
- Product recommendations: which products are recommended and where they rank, to calculate Product AI Rank.
- Citations: which sources the answer cites.
- Buy links: which domains the answer links shoppers to for purchase.
- Product carousel recommendations: which products appear in the shopping carousels some agents show alongside their answers.
- Sentiment: how positively or negatively the answer describes your brand.
What research is Azoma's methodology based on?
Azoma co-authored the 5 C’s of Agentic Commerce with the Digital Shelf Institute. The framework is backed by analysis of millions of shopping prompts. Azoma also holds two granted patents covering AI brand monitoring and AI product content creation.
